Ineke is the founder of Girl Code and she is the Senior Lead Developer of her team and Solution Architect at ANWB. Her career path (she didn't start programming until 2017 and retrained to be a full stack JavaScript developer in just three months) and founding Girl Code has earned her several awards and recognitions. That's how she became, for example one of Opzij’s 100 Most Influential Women in the Netherlands and in the Top 10 Tech three times in a row.
When she is not programming for ANWB, she closes the gender gap in code with her community Girl Code by organizing events and offering women programmers -and therefore role models- a stage. With doing this she creates awareness for the gender gap (that is why men are also allowed to come), she tries to close it, hopes to get more women enthusiastic about the profession and to keep women who are already doing it enthusiastic too (because that is sometimes difficult when you are in a field still dominated by men).
With her studies and experience, Ineke is not only an expert in Women in Tech, but also an expert in the field of D&I, role models and personal leadership. Making trouble by always being outspoken and speaking her mind exactly like it is.
